A 2.6-mile gravel road circles Washington Park, exposing anyone who uses it to gorgeous flowers and scenic lake views. Washington Park has a thriving shopping and restaurant scene. Old Gaylord Street may only be a block long, but it's home to several worthwhile shops, including Wish Boutique, a popular shop selling women's apparel and accessories. If you are looking for a more vibrant shopping experience, the chic Cherry Creek Shopping Center is only a short drive away.

If you are craving delicious pizza, visit Homegrown Tap and Dough. This stylish rustic pizzeria serves wood-fired pies and craft brews. Due to its namesake park and many other attractions, there is no shortage of things to do in Washington Park. Washington Park offers free, family-friendly events for people of all ages, including live music, workout classes, kid's activities, and adult kickball leagues. You can also rent a pedal boat or a stand-up paddle boat to ride around one of the two lakes in Washington Park. The Historic South Gaylord Street features fine dining, chic boutiques, and many community events. Historic South Gaylord hosts several events, including Memorial Weekend Kickoff, Farm to Bottle Fall Festival, Holiday Fest, and Summer Festival. This majestic block is home to several locally owned and operated eateries, health and beauty services, sporting goods, fashion, and more.
 
You can also head to West Wash Park and access the unique restaurants and shops on South Broadway. South Pearl Street is also a popular shopping and dining destination filled with several restaurants, pubs, and small businesses.
